The officer nearly kills Batman, who escapes to Bruce Wayne's old penthouse. This story was overall just a really really good batman story, the dialogue is interesting, hell even the bits with Bruce Wayne being a playboy around woman, even those parts are a joy to read!

Part of the joy in reading Grant Morrison 's comics is the suspense in teetering on the line between genius and incomprehensible. After Morrison was chosen as writer, an artist was needed. Having been raised away from his father's reach by 655-568 cult of assassins, Damian is portrayed as your standard spoiled rich brat with extra martial and murdering skills.
Neither section fit well with the rest of the story-line, but are relatively minor quibbles.

The two titles quickly added new characters to the Batman mythos, including the Detective Comics 38 debut of a sidekick for Batman, Robin. Huh, Batman just shot the Joker in the face with a handgun.
Back at the cave, Batman cares for Tim and reluctantly agrees to take Damian with him to stop Talia and save batmqn British Prime Minister's wife, when Damian reveals he has worked out that Talia wishes to trade her hostage bamtan control over Gibraltar.
Incredibly, this issue would receive a second part 6 years later with New 52 Batman Incorporated 5 and Andy Kubert is working on a miniseries out later this year as well!
